One year down, lifetime to go

Last Saturday was mine & Chreston's first year anniversary. I spent most of the morning packing and wasting time waiting for him to come home from work. We spent the evening walking around downtown Berkeley, and had dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant. As cheesy as it sounds, every day I look forward to being with him. I always heard people say they fall in love deeper as time goes by, and I can honestly say I love him now more than I ever have. There is no better feeling than knowing you married your best friend, the person who will never let you down, and the person who makes you better. He's my person. I know my past posts have been pretty Chreston-obsessed, but he's my everything, and what better person to write about, right?
This weekend we took a U-Haul of basically everything we own to our new place in Sacramento. We loaded everything up all by ourselves, and thankfully we have our family and friends in Sac that helped us unload. I'm super sore {weakling} but I'm so glad the hard part is done. I can't wait to start this new chapter, and I plan on using this blog to chronicle our adventures in moving, designing, and overall figuring things out. As a Marine wife, I know sooner or later I'll have this packing and moving thing down. In the meantime, we're going to focus on starting our 2nd year of marriage ;)
