Day 08- Your earliest memory

I knew how to read and write {in Spanish} by the age of 3. No, I'm not a genius, but I have a very intelligent mother. She has been a teacher for over 30 years, and her most important students were her own children. So this is my earliest memory. My mom teaching me. I was so attached to her when I was little, and that was because she took such good care of me. Specifically I remember all my siblings being at school and it was just my mom and I at home. She would pull out a little desk for me and she would sit on the floor with me. I'd go over the alphabet...a, b, c, ch, d...and I'd trace the the letters over some worksheets my mom had made herself. I'm sure I was 3 because at 4 my mom put me in pre-school (AKA hell on earth, see my unhappy face in the first picture below).

My earliest memory is this time I spent with my mom & I'll treasure it always.
