Day 01- Your current relationship

“Falling in love is very real, but I used to shake my head when people talked about soul mates, poor deluded individuals grasping at some supernatural ideal not intended for mortals but sounded pretty in a poetry book. Then, we met, and everything changed, the cynic has become the converted, the sceptic, an ardent zealot.”
-EA Bucchianeri
I've never believed in soulmates. Until I found him. Now I know soulmates could be better defined as your significant others, the OTHER parts of your soul. That person could be a friend, a family member, maybe even a pet (Norma & Nala hehe). I have many soulmates in my life, from my sisters to my best friends...yet, Chreston has taken a part in my heart that I assumed wouldn't need to be filled for a long time. Yes, he's a friend. Yes, he's a lover. He's also my rock. He shows me what I need to see to make myself a better person. He's a permanent reminder to try my hardest and never give up, because my future is our future. He shows me what a true gentleman is like (ladies, that's a Marine for you). He laughs at my jokes. That's a big one. We put each other needs before our own, therefore we are constantly holding each other up.

So this is my current relationship, if by current you mean for always. I wouldn't have thought that I'd be married at 22, but when your soulmate asks you to marry him, you don't say no.
